Probably the most environmentally friendly and natural way of fighting flies.


The biological control of flies with the help of beneficial insects (Spalangia spp. - Muscidifurx spp). refers to the natural way of life of these approx. 2 mm long insects, which is to visit the pupae (cocoons) of the fly and penetrate there. They need the live pupa of the fly (common housefly, stinging fly, dung bee...) in order to go through the entire life cycle from egg to adult insect. The beneficial insects do not attack the larvae: Instead, they wait until they transform into pupae and then lay their eggs in them, after which the fly pupae cannot complete their own life cycle and therefore die. After growing within the cocoon, the beneficial insect leaves it to mate immediately and reappear as a parasite to other pupae. This drastically reduces the annoying plague of flies.

These useful insects are the natural enemy of flies and are absolutely harmless to people, animals and plants.
The product is InfoXgen listed and therefore permitted for organic farming!

Application:
The beneficial insects are packed in sealed, breathable special bags, containing 100,000 insects each, mixed with wood chips, delivered. The distribution is carried out manually and over a wide area, especially at the edges of cubicles or calf igloos and/or manure pits.
It should be noted that every time the bedding is renewed or every time a pit is dug, an edge or part of it should not be removed. The beneficial insects there can therefore continue to multiply undisturbed.
