CALCITOP Calcium-Phosphorus Paste from LANDMANS BEST is a dietary supplement for dairy cows in the form of a paste to reduce the risk of milk fever and subclinical hypocalcemia. The calcium- and phosphorus-rich paste also contains energy-supplying substances to reduce the risk of ketosis. Each cartridge contains 30 g calcium and 42 g phosphorus.

Feeding recommendation:

2 cartridges per cow:

1 cartridge immediately after calving

1 cartridge 20-24 hours after calving

If required, 1 cartridge 48 hours after calving

Feeding after a calcium infusion:

1 cartridge 3 hours after the infusion

Advice for proper use:

It is recommended to seek the advice of an animal nutritionist before use. Only administer to cows with a clear swallowing reflex. Ensure that the throat is not injured during administration. Cut off the tip of the cartridge and insert the cartridge into the dosing pistol. Unscrew the dosing tip and insert it into the side of the mouth along the tongue and empty the contents so that the animal can swallow it. After emptying, carefully and slowly pull the cartridge out of the throat.
