So that the piglets stay healthy from the start and gain weight every day, it is assumed that the newborn piglets need a temperature of 30 to 35 C. From the 2nd to 4th week of life, the temperature requirement drops to approx. 26 C.
The SunnyBoy heat radiation devices are tailored precisely to these natural requirements: The more even heat radiation creates a larger comfort zone (30 - 35 C or 26 C) and therefore an optimal nesting environment for all piglets.
