The Cylindra plucking machine is a robust, effective and easy to clean machine. It has been developed for use with various types of poultry (chickens, turkeys, guinea fowl, geese, ducks, etc.). The water washing system, which is ideally operated with warm water, ensures good plucking results and ensures that the feathers are removed from the machine. The frame is galvanized and has a cylinder with a diameter of 700 mm and a rotating plate made of stainless steel 1.4301. The cylinder is removable for thorough cleaning. In order to keep a better eye on the plucking process and to protect against splashes, the device has a removable, transparent and impact-resistant polycarbonate lid. The fixed cylinder and the rotating plate have a total of 72 plucking fingers. The plucking machine can also be used to pluck several animals at the same time (e.g. 4 free-range chickens approx. 1.5 kg). Attention: Be sure to avoid scalding the animal's skin with water that is too hot. In both cases, check whether loosen the springs slightly and insert the animal into the machine. Switch on the machine and let it run until it is completely plucked (approx. 30 seconds). Small feather residues are normal and must be removed by hand. Attention: The device is not suitable for quails and other very small poultry species!
